Ear Specialty Group offers a broad array of services geared to diagnose and treat disorders of hearing, the ear and dizziness. We know there is no such thing as one-size-fits-all cure, so we never use a one-size-fits-all approach to your diagnosis.

We provide comprehensive auditory and vestibular testing. These highly specialized tests are required for an accurate diagnosis of your specific problem. Doctors of Audiology and Vestibular Therapists work together to compile all the essential information necessary to form a treatment plan that is right for you.
Some ear and hearing problems require surgical treatment.
Dr. Eisen is a board certified, fellowship-trained Neurotologist with over 15 years of surgical experience. His surgical focus includes acoustic neuroma, otosclerosis, cholesteatoma, cochlear implantation, bone conduction solution implantation, middle ear disease and superior canal dehiscence.

Dr. Marc Eisen is one of the leading neurotologists in Connecticut. He specializes in disorders of the ear and inner ear balance system. His clinical expertise includes hearing loss, acoustic neuroma, cochlear implantation, otosclerosis, cholesteatoma, facial nerve disorders, as well as balance disorders and dizziness. He is past president of the Connecticut Ear, Nose and Throat Society and holds the title of Medical Director of the Hartford Hospital Hearing and Balance Center. Dr. Eisen earned his medical degree and doctorate in auditory neuroscience from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, where he then completed his residency in otolaryngology. After his residency, he completed a fellowship in otology and neurotology at Johns Hopkins University. His research has earned him several prestigious grants and awards from both the Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery and the National Institutes of Health. Dr. Eisen's published works can been seen in otolaryngology literature and he continues to present at national and local meetings for colleagues and patients.
Samantha Almeida, MHS PA-C is a certified physician assistant and has joined our group after practicing general otolaryngology since 2015. She is enthusiastic, knowledgeable and works closely with Dr. Eisen to diagnose, and treat all otologic and neurotologic conditions. She maintains a membership with the AAO-HNS. Samantha received her

She is enthusiastic, knowledgeable and works closely with Dr. Eisen to diagnose, and treat all otologic and neurotologic conditions. She maintains a membership with the AAO-HNS. Samantha received her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Quinnipiac University.
She lives with her family and 2 rescue dogs in Litchfield county. Outside of work & family her passions include traveling, lifting weights and gardening.
Dr. Susan Rostron has been providing comprehensive diagnostic and rehabilitative hearing health care since 2002. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Maryland, her Master of Science degree from Northeastern University and her Doctorate of Audiology from Salus University. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of

She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (FAAA) and earned her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association. Dr. Rostron is licensed by the Connecticut Board of Speech Language Pathology and Audiology.
